Dr. Sedigheh (Sedi) Naisi, C.Psych. is a registered psychologist in Clinical and Counselling Psychology. She is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) as well as the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA). Her primary client population is adults. She is highly trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), in addition to Acceptance and Commitment (ACT). Moreover, she has worked with a variety of clients using Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Trauma focused therapy to assist with the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Her specialties include treatments of Anxiety, Depression as well as teaching Coping Skills. She is also proficient in dealing with Anger Management, Emotional Disturbance, Grief, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Relationship Issues, Sleep or Insomnia, different types of Phobias and PTSD. She is fluent in English, Farsi, Urdu, and speaks conversational Arabic.
Dr. Naisi has provided psychological services to Insurance Companies, with a focus on Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA) and WSIB. She has completed her training in Clinical Psychology at The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and has over 15 years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist. She is very easy to speak to and offers a judgement-free zone for her clients to speak freely about anything they wish to without any worries.
