Aditi Gulati is a Registered Psychotherapist in autonomous good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
Aditi has over 8 years of experience in performing psychotherapy, psychological assessment & counselling with adults, couples and youth at various mental health and addictions centers such as CMHA, Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, and Hope Place Centers.
Aditi is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu; and has worked extensively with refugees and new immigrants who are exposed to trauma in the Interim Federal Health Program. She has provided domestic violence counselling to court mandated clients. She has worked with clients struggling with substance use from both an abstinence & harm reduction model to help them in their recovery. Aditi has also extensively worked with families helping them cope with their loved ones addiction issues.
Aditi uses innovative therapeutic techniques from Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Trauma-Informed therapy, Mindfulness Meditation and Solution-Focused Therapy to help her clients achieve their goals. She creates a safe environment for her clients and empowers her clients by helping them learn the skills to cope with difficult emotions. Aditi has special interest in supporting individuals with trauma, depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationship issues, substance use and self-esteem issues.
